Same lines. A new house.
The original gables and proportions were kept, and everything around them was reconsidered. Enclosed screen porches became open balconies, the exterior was refreshed in a clean white finish, and the house now opens fully to the water and the pool. At the front, a new covered entry and refined details carry the same character to the street.

A closet, given its own room.
A new gabled bump-out off the side of the home, designed and permitted by our team. Siding, roofing and paint were matched to the original house, and the closet interior was built out to suit the way the homeowners use it.

A tired shed, rebuilt as part of the house.
The old detached shed was replaced with a true addition, framed and roofed to tie into the existing roofline. New siding, trim and paint carry the house through, finished with new double doors and a window.

New arched windows and doors became part of a full exterior refresh: stucco repair and a warm new color, refined entry trim and corbels, balustrades and columns framing each window bank, new gutters, and trim.

It begins with an in-home consultation about the space you need and how you want it to feel. From there we develop the design and plans for your approval, pull the required permits, and build through final inspection with one point of contact.

Does an addition require a permit?
Yes. Additions require building permits and inspections in Florida. We prepare the plans, pull the permits and coordinate every inspection.
Will the addition match my existing home?
That is the goal of every project. We match rooflines, siding, stucco, trim and paint so the new space reads as part of the original house.
Can an addition include a bathroom or kitchen?
Yes. As master plumbers, we handle the plumbing for new bathrooms, kitchens and laundry spaces within an addition.
What does an addition cost?
Every project is unique, and pricing depends on the size, structure and finishes involved. Your consultation is where we put that together.
Is financing available?

How long does an addition or remodel take?
It depends on the size and scope of the project and on permitting, which is often required for additions. For reference, a standard kitchen or bathroom remodel typically takes 4 to 6 weeks after permitting. Once all scopes for your project are confirmed, your designer or project manager will walk you through your schedule, depending on the complexity of the project.

Greystone Kitchens has served Northeast Florida since 2016. In that time our team has completed more than 1,000 individual projects, many of them covering several rooms at once.
Are you licensed?
Yes. Greystone is a Florida Certified General Contractor (CGC1527027) and a licensed master plumbing contractor (RF11067940), so design, permitting, construction and plumbing are all handled by one licensed team.
Is design handled in-house?
Yes. Our own designers work with you from the first consultation through final selections, and the same company builds what we design.
What warranty do you offer?
Every project includes our one-year installation warranty, plus all manufacturer warranties on the products we install, ranging from 10 years up to lifetime coverage.
